I'm currently living in Portland, Oregon in yet another trendy 'loft-style' apartment. These concrete boxes are nothing like real lofts. I feel this construction style will be sadly outdated in another five years or so. It's strange for all the supposed luxury they represent that these buildings skimp on things like solid doors or reasonable window treatments. In my current hermitage, I've been challenged with vinyl 80s vertical blinds. My solution is 2" metal clip binders. Here is my 'Ace of Spades' design using six such high-tech devises. I've worked on various weaves, plaits, and fans as well. It is also fun to make a weave then use dry erase markers to do some geometerics and then release the blinds back to their original position. I'm waiting for DWR to come out with Danish Modern inspired binder clips for $15 each.

I must say I'm impressed. It's not so much your ridiculously amped talent as much as your passion for the game. You've taken an apple and made strudel, and for that I can only applaud you. I remain, as always, your number 6 fan worldwide.
